Angel, Nana, Mother & a best friend.
I feel so blessed that i got a nana like you. You brought me and Adele up as if we were your own children & you have made us the people we are today. You made us all laugh all the time, even when you were going through pain you managed to put a smile on everyones face. Life is so unfair nana :( it always takes the best people away from you & those that you need. I don't know how we are all coping without you here, I know one thing it's hurting me so much not being able to see your smile :( I miss you so so much. I know you are looking down on us all, when i'm sad & upset I know you are there all i have to do is look up to the sky at night & look for the brightest star in the sky & I know that is you watching over me. You had an amazing life nana, always busy and on your toes & i know sometimes it wasn't easy for you but you stayed strong & that's what is so inspiring to me i'm trying to stay strong now like you were. I hope you are proud of us all & i know we will meet again at the gates of heaven but for now i'm going to make you proud & happy & give you something good to watch up there! Say hi to grandad for me, i bet you've missed him so much.

This is the poem i wrote for my nanas funeral
You were always there for us to wipe away our tears.
And you always told us to conquer our fears.
Now you're gone i really don't know what to do
All i know is that i really want to be with you.
You always managed to put a smile on everyones face
And were so cheeky you put everyone through there pace.
You were my Nana, a mother and best of all a friend,
You often were the only person on which i could depend.
All i have to say is we are all missing you dearly
Without you here we will never see clearly.
So as i say these words with a tear in my eye,
We will always be together, we will never say goodbye.

This time last year my life felt like it was over when you got taken from it :(
and a year later i still miss you so so much! :(
it's funny how so much can change in one year, you have a beautiful great grand-daughter called Ellie May (after you of course) you would have been so so proud of Adele :(
I just wish you were still here but i know that won't ever happen apart from the day where i meet you again in heavenn
